BIRDWATCHING

Birdwatching in Madeira has great potential due to the unique ecosystems that exist on the Island, with 42 breeding species and subspecies of birds, including two species endemic to Madeira, others endemic to Macaronesia (a biogeographic region that includes Madeira, Azores, Canaries and Cape Verde archipelagos), also being the southern and northern limits of some bird species.

All classes include a theoretical session and warm-up of around 15 minutes, practice of 1h30m/2h, board, isothermal suit, leash and insurance.
